Do you ever feel lost when reading the Bible, like you're missing out on something important or can't find what you need? Are you eager to discover the rich treasures of God's Word? Would you like to develop a consistent, satisfying, and rewarding habit of Bible study? Then join us this fall for an adventure in learning to study Scripture! We'll give you the background, resources, and tips for studying the Bible, from an overview of the Old and New Testaments, to learning about how the Bible has been passed down to us, to developing the skills for studying effectively. This will be a serious commitment, and promptness, faithful attendance, frequent review quizzes, and at least two hours of homework each week is expected. There is no cost to this class, but participants will be strongly encouraged to purchase resources and begin building their personal Bible study library. Class space is limited, so don't delay. For more information or to register for either the Tuesday night or Wednesday night class, contact Margo Heine (margo.heine@comcast.net or 540-937-8258).
