Under the Sun:
Lessons from the Life
& Writings of Solomon
Sunday Mornings, 10:00 AM
Solomon -- Arguably the wisest man who has ever lived, and a man literally known as "Peace" and "God's Favored." His life's story, his gathered collection of wisdom in Proverbs, his startling passionate poetry in the Song of Songs, and his reflections on a life well-lived in Ecclesiastes, form the basis of our summer study in the Bible.
Holiday Parties Throughout December
A Christmas twist on our popular "Mystery Dinners," you can sign up for a holiday party in December. You'll bring an appetizer & dessert, and will discover where you're going just a few days before the event. There are events for the entire family as well as those focused just for adults. For more information contact Margo Heine.
Thursday, December 24, 7:00 PM
Join us at Hope for a special candlelight event to celebrate the incarnation of Christ and the wonders of Christmas. This is an event for the whole family, and provides a quiet opportunity for slowing down, for worship, for reflection, and for encouraging inspiration.
Praising in Pajamas
Sunday, January 3, 10:00 AM
It's become one of our favorite traditions at Hope! We kick off the year by coming to church on the first Sunday of January in our pajamas. Seriously! After all the business of Christmas and New Year's celebrations, it's time to just roll out of bed, not worry about hair or makeup or picking out an outfit. Grab your slippers and your bathrobe and join us at Hope for a very fun Sunday morning.
We'll be enjoying breakfast during the service, so bring a couple of breakfast items to share (casserole, biscuits & gravy, bowl of fruit, box of cereal & milk, basket of muffins, pan of bacon, or whatever you'd like). Rumor has it that Pastor Scott will be flipping pancakes once again this year while sharing the morning message.
This is an event you don't want to miss!
